Trailing Tradition: A Horseback Adventure with Timberline

While filming Wildflowers, Meghan J. Ward and crew embarked on a two-day horsepacking adventure to see what it was like for Mary Schäffer when she explored the Canadian Rockies in the early 1900s. We set off with historic outfitter Timberline Tours, our guide Sydney Scott, and cook KC Scott. On this journey, we experienced the landscape in new ways and discovered the legacy of horse packing from a passionate steward of the tradition.
